Established in 2012, St. Mary’s Orthodox Christian Society Calgary is a faith-based charitable organization dedicated to championing the spiritual, cultural, and social mission of St. Mary’s Malankara Orthodox Church. The Society serves as a vital pillar for the parish, ensuring the success of church programs, youth and family initiatives, and daily operations through dedicated service and stewardship.

To fuel these essential ministries, the Society manages a diverse range of fundraising and grant-seeking efforts. We take pride in our long-standing partnership with the AGLC. Since 2013, our dedicated volunteers have served in various operational roles during sanctioned events, upholding the highest standards of transparency and integrity. These efforts ensure that gaming proceeds are responsibly directed toward the public benefit and the charitable goals of the parish.
Beyond this partnership, the Society actively secures government grants and organizes community-based fundraisers, such as raffle draws, to provide a stable foundation for the church’s ongoing needs.
